This work is based on Milton's, Paradise Lost,. The ayslum seekers believe they are coming to "Paradise" but the boat is wrecked and all is lost

The hymn used in this work is "Rescue the perishing" which I think is most appropriate.

This series is on the topic of the "Boat people", or "Asylum Seekers" and the dangers they face, only to arrive to detention.

I think this subject touches us all, as we are all asylum seekers in some way .

Again ,the theme of the boat,using charcoal,embroidery and scoring.
